Today's topic: Consonant Practice Words.
Let's click-on the Consonant Pwords link on the Member Area home page.
This page features three different ways to study the Consonant Practice Words:
FIRST: At the top of the page is a chart containing an alphabetical list of the English consonant sounds with a sample practice word.
SECOND: Just below the chart, are Consonant Practice Word audio recordings. Use your mouse to move up and down the list. Just click-on a sound to hear it. Click-on the double bars to stop it.
THIRD: Scroll down the page to find the complete list of Consonant Sound Practice Words.
Let's click-on the Practice Words for the letter "C".
At the top of the page is a chart showing the practice letter.
Below the chart is a list of Practice Words.
Click-on any link to see the Consonant Practice Word, its eezee speek® notation, and hear its recorded sounds.
Notice that c-l-o-s-e is listed twice: first as close (the opposite of far). I am clicking on the browser back button. And secondly as, close (the opposite of open).
Use the eezee speek®. It will help you improve your pronunciation.
Be sure to speak slowly and say each sound completely.
