The Read This First page describes our recommended learning approach. Here is a brief summary:

1. Start with the English alphabet.
• Be sure to listen to the recorded audio.
• Practice what you hear OUTLOUD.
• Record your words with a tape recorder if possible.
2. Practice the Consonant sounds of the alphabet
3. Practice the Sounds of the language.
• Study the sounds in Groups. First Group 1, then Group 2, Group 3, etc.
4. Study and practice short words before advancing to longer words.

As you practice the sounds and word list, you will improve your pronunciation skills and vocabulary at the same time.
